Section 48 provides for compensation for damages caused by any search without warrant where such search has proved unsuccessful.
7. (c) Forfeitures.
Section 49 provides that all fines and forfeitures go to the Superintendent to be disposed of as the Governor may direct: it pro- -vides that all opium in respect of which any offence against the Ordinance has been committed may be seized together with any implements
used in connection with opium and shall be forfeited together with any smuggling chip of less than 16 tons: it further prescribes that any unclaimed opium or implement used in comection therewith may also be
forfeited.
8. (d). Procedure and Legal.

Section 54 provides that a certificate sined by the Superintendent shall be conclusive evidence of the market value of any opium the subject matter of proceedings under the Ordinance.
